The Chiels in the community........

The charitable Chiels have not only raised a tremendous amount of money for the local community, but are actively involved in providing manpower/labour to numerous of local events.

A lot of the work is carried out behind the scenes and may not be very noticeable, but I am sure it has helped to make these events a success and ones to be remember to all the many visitors to the village.

The chiels Laying the cables for the Christmas lights

Christmas Lights	Second Sunday in November the Chiels get together to erect the Stunning Christmas lights in Ballater
200th Anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar.	Erected & dismantled the Stalls & dance floor for this televised event
5th November Charitable Chiels community fireworks bonfire display	The Chiels took over the total running & costs of this event from the Local Council in 2004
Summer Village floral display	The Chiels aided another local group in the erection of these floral displays plus helped out with the weekly watering
